How to draw short-length horizontal line please

Hi,
How to draw short-length horizontal line from Close[1] to Close[0] and 2-3 bars further in the future after Close [0] please? If using Ninja built-in as follows:

DrawHorizontalLine("SLine" + CurrentBar, false, Close[1], Color.Yellow, DashStyle.Dash, 1); ...

will draw endless hor. line. Is there a way to terminate the line after it reaches certain point in time or length or...?
Is there a performance issues with drawing many objects on the chart such as arrows, lines, texts...? Will this slow down the performance dramatically?

Art, in NT7 you could draw at a future DateTime point to draw into the future. Each object drawn and redrawn carries a performance penalty, but it's unfortunately hard to approximate the impact in your custom case & setup - you would need to give it a try.
