    Error in creating strategy

I have just resolved an issue whereby NT7 wouldn't load due to a disappearance of a TMP folder. Now I go through the wizard to create a new strategy and find another tmp folder is missing from bin/custom. So I add one to it. But I also get this strange thing popping up where there is an error on creating the strategy to do with stochasitcs indicators. I tried removing them but then other indicators reliant on those throw up an error. I need a way forward? Any suggestions
    Thanks

    Hello RayCam,

You may have to update your existing stochastic files or uninstall / reinstall so the correct ones can be installed.

Please see this thread for some replacement stochastic files:

        Hi raycam,

You will likely need a clean install.

Please follow the steps listed below to completely uninstall and reinstall NinjaTrader:

        1. Close all running applications.
        2. Then from the Start menu select --> Control Panel --> Add and Remove Programs.
        3. From Add and Remove Programs select NinjaTrader 7 and click Remove.
        4. Then manually delete the folder "NinjaTrader 7" located under Start --> My Documents.
        5. Delete any NinjaTrader installation files. This can be done by going to Start --> My Computer --> Search button --> search for (NinjaTrader*) --> select Local C Disk and then press search.
        6. Then you will need to clear your internet browser cache and history. You will clear this from within your internet browser (with IE, Tools-->Options, delete cookies and files, clear history).
        7. Reboot your machine.
        8. Once these steps are completed, download NT7 from the link below:

Please let us know if you are able to get up and running after the reinstall.

This means I will lose all my strategies and workspaces right? Is there anyway I can protect them?
          Thanks

raycam, that is correct. Before the uninstall/reinstall, you can backup your scripts by exporting them from File -> Utilities -> Export NinjaScript -> move the exported files somewhere safe. Then you can reinstall and import the scripts from File -> Utilities -> Import NinjaScript. This option will provide the most flexibility for importing scripts in the future.

Alternatively, you could do the more through backup from File -> Utilities -> Backup, which would also include your workspaces and such. To restore the backup, you can go to File -> Utilities -> Restore.
