How to track dayligh saving changes

Let say we have a code ( indicator and/or strategy ) that does something at certain time ( like painting bars or start trading, etc ). Is there some way to know when is a dayligh saving time change so add or substract an hour accordingly ?

    Regards,

    Hello Pablo,

    Thank you for your post.

Unfortunately there aren't NinjaScript properties for this. There is a Time Zone class in C# that may offer some of what you're looking for.

The idea is to make the code not related to the user time zone ( like using exchange time on tradestation ).

Is there a way to know the exchange time from inside the code without asking anything to the user ?

If you're working with NT7, you could check the timezone of the applied session template - http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/h...t7/session.htm
