Help with DrawText() to draw text vertically

Friends,

I wanted to draw text vertically on each bar - to display some "score" of each bar.

Looked around but can not find much info on how to accomplish this - Googled and found some DrawString method but do not know how to get the "graphics" object they talk about. As you can tell, am a novice when it comes to graphics.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your forum post and welcome to the forum.

Unfortunatley this is undocumented and not supported. Therefor I am unable to assist with this and really unable to even point you in the right direction to look. There is not a supported NinjaScript function to do this(Only Horizontally) and would require you creating your own PlotType.

Thanks for your response.

I am a bit disappointed that NinjaTrader can't support such a rather common requirement.

Still...I am hopeful that one of our experts out there can come up with some creative solution - just as how the Plot method was used for the original Ichimoku indicator.

I am sure there are at least some people that implemented this feature in their own indicator/strategy. Hopefully, we get to share in their programming genius.

There have not been any changes to NT7 in this area. I'm not aware of any custom solutions, but we'll leave this thread open in case any other users have a method for drawing text vertically.
