    Multi-chart Stochastic and other indicators...

    Hi,
There are so many, many, many, many... indicators on this forum. But most of them are sooooooo... useless! Sorry guys. Thanks for the effort though. Many of the indicators are very pretty, colorful, some just beautiful... Here's couple of ideas for really useful and wanted (by many) indicators for those who has a skill to create them, which I don't.
Multi chart stochastic: when stoch. crosses 20% or 80% levels (or any level defined by the user in the properties) on more then one different time frame charts (could be 3 or more diff time fr. charts) then put the up/down marker on all charts + play sound, e.g. alert. The sound file for the alert should not be hard coded so one can use different alerts for diff instruments. The stoch. lines should be in color, which is already available - Stochastic_Color(s) and many other versions found on this forum.

Divergence/convergence on price and stochastic: when dvg/cvg detected then draw connecting lines (lines connecting higer/lower tops/bottoms) on price and the indicator, e.g. lower low on price but higher high on stoch. - draw lines on both, price and stoch. + alert (not hardcoded sound file). Addding the same func. to MACD would be nice too.

Wedges on the stochastic: If detected then draw lines to identify wedges on stoch. + alert (optional).

Double top/bottom: If dbl top/bottom detected then draw a line+alert (optional). Ninja price action is not good enough.

I hope somebody will hear thie and find this usefull and interesting to work on. These indicators, at least the first one, should be supplied with Ninja.
    Thank you all.

Thanks for the suggestions Art09 - if you would tools to be created professionally for you, please review this list of certified NinjaScript consultants - http://www.ninjatrader.com/webnew/pa...injaScript.htm

Thanks. But I was hoping Ninja can and will do this. It takes 1 hr at most to develop any of suggested indicators for any experienced coder, especially the first indicator where everything is already available and all it takes only to put it together... Why should we pay for indicators/strategies that are really needed and long overdue? Not fare.
I hope maybe some amateur developer will hear me and create smth useful instead of wasting time to make another colorful, shiny... and very useless one.
      Thanks.

Judging indicator for usefulness is and will be a subjective thing - we provide the industry standard of indicators and continue to expand the coverage, for example the Traders Tips indicators from the TASC mag are regularly scripted inhouse and then posted in our sharing section. On top of that the the active developer community here provides plenty of scripts to customize your NinjaTrader setup or at least get valuable starting points for your own custom development in our NinjaScript / C#.

I'm trying to reach the community, not Ninja. There is no other way I know to reach others, and avoid Ninja support. And I meant indicators created by others are mostly useless, not by Ninja. Sorry, but this is true. Ninja has all standard ones and more. I was not writing about those that come with the platform. Sorry that I did not explain myself clear. But few more ind. would be nice. I'm sure most would be more then happy to have multi-chart Stoch... as desr below. For non C# programmer it is not easy to code...
It is not possible to dig through every avail script to find what I need, there are too many posts. This is why I asked and hoping some may have these ind. already or would be interested to work on this and share... I will definitely share anything with anyone. I'm also trying to work on indicators described in my post but not successfully.
          Thank you.

finding specific indicator strategy script code
Hello Ryan, I've heard you in the webinar rooms.
Of three signal types, a stoc, RSI, StocRSI has one particular classic divergence signal as a time factor difference between tops/bottom in, "first over-sold/bought top/bottom, second over-sold/bought price top/bottom and lower high/higher low leading reversal pattern on such inds.'," for the bear div. declining & bull div. inclined trendline angles. My tradingdesk-futures.com site has our firm's proprietary copyright-patent (W.I.P.O., Swiss gov.) on our convergence factorization, and if I can formulate after finding the NT script code for this classic divergence signal, I will go to the next level on the convergence/divergence factorization that follows to our TD-F derivative ind. models, hopefully utilized on NT after I get my new system next month.
I'm working on code for that and have the time to finish my TD-F systems for the ready for NT integration for my firms establishment into the e-fund-trading, "EFT Futures," realm. 888-688-0476
                Post Reply:
I'll be making a thread on that one, and while I don't know your affiliation after a two-yr. old post, I believe you mistakenly said a higher stoc high to a higher prices high, of which, by definition, a bearish divergence overbought normal sell signal is described as, "a second cycle top of higher price's and a lower low to the indicator," of which the crossunder...

Now while I knew George Lane from 43 years ago, my firm has since developed the convergence/divergence factorization to our complete trading systems and to derivative indicators unknown to NinjaTrader. Here's an example of the following that we developed of convergence usage since 1983: http://tradingdesk-futures.com/most_...l120953TN.html. While this comment above, "when dvg/cvg detected then draw connecting lines," is incredibly sophisticated for the forums I've read, While I try this one level to the stoc for my trading systems in just collecting code script for my purposes, this is a long time question I'm impelled to answer as I try my matrices in spreadsheets of the combinations of indicator-oscillators to my derivative and now neural network to the A.I. w/ trading strategy overlay to order in-put, to which a cycle continues in account money flow to the port. management that augments the adaptation of the trading systems itself:

                www.tradingdesk-futures.com/charts2.html

Oh, I've uncovered my entire platform w/ all those NinjaTrader based fees and commission, "Royalties..."

If you can´t program the indicator you need, you might concider the possibility you can´t judge the usefullness of indicators you don´t use.

The code/script you´re asking for is right here in the forum. If you don´t find it possible to dig your way to it, I doubt you´ll find it possible to use it.

If you´re looking for "money for free" - this is not the place to be.

Easy guys, it is a little too late to reply to this thread don't you think? Where were any of you when someone needs help? And I still think then 99.9% of CUSTOM (not NINJA supplied) indicators are useless, sorry, just an opinion. And if you're offended then try using any of the indicators and see what happens. What's the point of an indicator that does not work as intended to?
Besides, there is another thread opened by me here - looking for freelance programmer or such... I do not remember exactly. I was looking for someone to code indicators for me and not for free. But finally I found a place where my indicators coded for very, very reasonable $ - https://www.freelancer.com - higly recommended. And I can recommend a guy who does high class work there...
Anyway, sorry and stop crying, please.
                    Art.
