    Performance tips?

For some reason my indicators are taking a very long time to load on my charts (> 2 minutes for 7 indicators on 45 days of 220-tick data). Are there peformance improvement guidelines out there for NinjaScript? Are there best practices that I could use to speed up the performance of my indicators? Or is this all just based on the limitations of my PC?
    Please help.

trader2be, there are no standard guidelines on optimizing code, but you want to keep a sharp eye on recursive calculations in your indicators, those can add up in 7 indicators running on such long tick data histories. I suggest you isolate out by varying your setup (# of charts, indicators, data loaded) and then restesting.

      Betrand,

Could you give an example of what you mean by recursive calculations?

      Thanks

For example compare the traditional EMA to SMA formulas, the EMA would be recursive or self referecing as it needs a part of it's own previous bar's results for finding the new value.
