Basic question about statements in brackets

I see things like "[Desciption...", "[GridCategory...", and "[Gui.Design.DisplayName..."

Are these statements unique to NS, a component of C#, or .Net, or something else?

Where can I learn more about these statements and others of that ilk and their proper use and function?

Hello Kaydgee,

These are used for the xml layer. This preserves your settings for use in workspaces / templates. Most of their use is internal, so there isn't one place to find documentation for all the xml features.

You may find the need to use this with custom inputs or during color serialization. More information is available in these links:
