never ending while loop has crashed NT

Well, I have managed to stick a while() loop into my code without having any sort of logical termination. It of course compiled and I tried to apply it to a chart. NT 6.5 froze up so I had to force quit it. Now it won't start up again without freezing up again because I think it is still trying to resolve that indicator which is on a chart that is brought up by default.

Any help would be really appreicated.

So far I have tried to use Notepad to erase the suspect indicator code as well as try to copy old versions of the startup workspace.

Nothing has worked so far.

Once it tries to bring up the chart that I applied it to, it just hangs and task manager says "Not Responding".

I ended up dumping the NinjaTrader 6.5 folder into the trash and replacing it with the nightly backup that my machine does.

Perhaps someone can still answer this since I don't know what I would have done if I didn't have computer image backup or if the solution didn't work.

Likely the workspace file replacement did not work out well, normally moving the workspace file that would load the indicator on the chart out of the workspaces folder and then restarting NT would do it in those cases...the indicator would not be loaded, you could correct the issues / comment out offending lines and be good to go.
