Multiple Symbols in NT7

I am a little confused about how to work with multiple symbols in NT7. I know I can add multiple symbols/timeframes etc to the charts and I understand the indexing [0], [1] etc.

Do you have to use the Add() to access the other symbols that are added to a chart?
If I use the Add() do I have to add the additional symbols to the chart first?
Does it matter which panel the symbols are displayed on?

I created a chart with ES data and I am just trying to understand how this all works so I added the 6E to the chart as well.

I have tried to use the Add()

Add("6E 09-10", PeriodType.Tick, 610)

but I still cannot seem to access the values using Closes[1][0].I can access the ES data if i use Closes[0][0].

Are there any samples of using multiple symbols/timeframes on the firum?
