NT 7 Counting the amount of bars in a swing

Hello,

I am looking for a very simple indicator. What they have in tradestation is the ability to draw a trendline and you have the option for it to label to bar count. For example, it will count the bars from the start of trendline to the end. I am getting tired of having to count the bars in each swing, is there in indicator that will tell me the bar count if i input the start and end bar?

Hello Davidwm88,

Version 7 introduces a ruler tool that offers this. Click on the pencil icon at the top of your chart toolbar and then select ruler. Ruler is drawn with two clicks (start and end), and it will list the # of bars inbetween.
