Condition X bars ago

One of my conditions is :

if (
Low[3] < SMMA(Median, 13)[8]
)

But I want to use my "SMMA(Median, 13)[8]" 3 bars ago

of course, Low[3] < SMMA(Median, 13)[8] [3] does not work....

Please can you help me to write that ?

Thank you for your post.

The [] index refers to the number of bars ago.

If you want to get the value of this indicator 3 bars ago, then use:
SMMA(Median, 13)[3]

If you want to get the value of this indicator 3 bars prior to 8 bars ago, than just add 3 to 8.
SMMA(Median, 13)[11]
