    program exit verus refresh (f5)

    Hello,

How can I determine from within an indicator if the redraw being done was caused by a refresh versus the new-start of the program?

Ideally I would like to know what method I can overwrite/append upon program exit.

I have an indicator that relies on live data and when I press F5 it wipes out the history. My plan is to write the data to a file and read it in on an F5 refresh. But if I exit the program or start the program new I will not use the data file values.

Thus is there a way to determine if I exit the program versus if an F5 refresh was pressed? Example code to review would be ideal...

If this is too detailed of a question for this form could you at least point me in the direction to search? I know sometimes these things are MSN related and have no problems digging there...

    Unfortunately this is not supported.

Let me know if I can be of further assistance.
