Adding time clauses to sendmail signals

Hi,

I have a strategy that uses the sendmail feature to send me an email when the strategy creates a signal, can I set it up to still produce signals 24/7 but to only send my emails say between 6:00 am and 4:00 pm local time? or not send my emails from 4:00 pm thru to 6:00 am? whichever works if fine.

Hello Jim,

Yes, this should be possible. See the reference sample here on Using a time filter to limit trading hours.

The reference sample illustrates submitting orders only when the TimeStamps fall within a range. You could modify to submit mail only during a range.
