Strategy ID column

How do I get the Strategy ID column to fill on the Orders tab.. I run different strategies and would be nice to correlate which order is coming from which strategy!!

If you were using an ATM strategy it will auto populate. If you are using a NinjaScript strategy it should take the name of your strategy. If you removed the strategy label then it would be blank. You will want to provide a label name for it.

These are my Strategies.. Are u talking about it should get the name from the Strategy

public class FluxAuto4_20 : Strategy
public class CCIRange : Strategy

If so it aint doing it!

You need to be sure that the "Label" field is populated. This is available when you run the strategy.

Please test with SampleMACrossover strategy and let us know if you continue to have issues.

Both my strategies have labels .. ur right the sample populates the field.. how do I make my stuff work? I looked at the sample code near the top but couldn't see any difference to mine.

Here is what I noticed.. If the data source is disconnected All of the order information goes away... When the data source is connected again the orders all come back but the Strategy ID is blank... This is similar to another worthless behavior that the Real Time Strategy Performance goes away and ends up being polluted with the Historical, since the trades on the historical presented can be vastly different then what was in the Real-time stats..... Dont think anyone who has every tried to backtest can take NT seriously for backtesting.

I'd like to test on my side to see if I'm getting the same results.

I'm having the same issue, StrategyId is blank even though my strategies have labels.

I'm looking at my IB account performance when connected to IB...could that be the reason the StrategyID field is blank?

This should not make a difference, did you for perhaps close a strategy position by hand? Then this order / execution would have a blank strategy label for sure.

I've only just started live strategy trading but my last trade was completely handled via Ninjatrader and the ID was blank.
