Have a chart trigger an event based on computer clock?

In general I suppose events are based on one bar to the next transition or tick by tick

I am trying to get a historical chart to save an image(pre market hours) but I need an event to happen to trigger that event

Some background - this is based on post http://www.ninjatrader-support2.com/...774#post154774

I can get the image to save if a transition from 1 min bar to the next is generated but premarket hours I need another event to happen - can I detect a change on say the computer clock to trigger the event?

When I apply the SendMailChartLib() Strategy it causes the image to saved initially but the process of applying a strat to a chart seems blank the chart and hence the image saved is a blank chart???
