History when adding data series

When adding a new series with (Period.Day,1) is a history for the series loaded?

Thank you for your post.

NinjaTrader will request data for that symbol when you attempt to add a strategy. The data will ultimately come from your provider. If they supply it then you will get the history.

Thx, I am having trouble getting high of current bar.

With UpdateOnClose set to false, will bar[0] have to close before I can get the high?

I don't follow your exact question.

You can access the secondary data in the series by using objects like:
Highs
Closes
Lows
Opens

Thanks for the kind words - any errors in the log tab?

Setting CalculateOnBarClose to false would give you those values updating intrabar....

Does it change anything for you if you try another interval, such as Period.Minute, 60?
