I've noticed you can't set the standard dev. less than 1 . Is there a
reason for this or can it be easily changed ? thx .

You can change the code below, in the properties region:

        
public double StandardDev
        {
            get { return standardDev; }
            set { standardDev = Math.Max(1, value); }
        }

to

        
public double StandardDev
        {
            get { return standardDev; }
            set { standardDev = Math.Max(0, value); }
        }
