Parameters revert back to default

I have a problem and would appeciate some help

in Variables I have
private Color vColor = Color.Black ;

In properties is have
[XmlIgnore()]
[Description("Banner and Add Color")]
[Category("Parameters")]
[Gui.Design.DisplayNameAttribute("Color for Banners")]
public Color vcolor
{
get { return vColor; }
set { vColor = value; }
}


now my problem is if I change the color in the parameters in the indicator parameter section when on the chart, every time I close and reopen Ninja i lose the new color setup even if i save workspace

I must be missing something simple as all the other parameters stay set except this one.
