There is a lot of "unsupported" stuff in the code.

I can’t hear any alerts for the items I tick, and my initial assumption is that it’s because the code can’t find the required .wav file (which is apparently “SoundsAlert4.wav”) on my trading PC.

In general, where am I likely to find the “.wav” files on my computer, (I use NT V6.5.1000), so that I can make sure the indicator is pointing where it needs to?

I previously used the indicator version jtEcoNews, which used alert “Alert1.wav” which I could hear OK ...

Sound Alerts

I would try perhaps looking at settiing the sound file to where Ninja uses it sound files ie Program Files/ Ninja 6.5/ Sounds.

This seems to work fine in Ninja 7 even with the undocumented features.

I noticed the use of internal NT functions like

NinjaTrader.Db.Globals.Engine.GetObjectSet(typeof( NinjaTrader.Cbi.InstrumentList),myWhere);

Do NT certified consultants get access to these internal features? What is the process to become a certified consultant.

I am a NinjaTrader 3rd party partner. But I never got any extra information with respect to the normal user. Only extra info I got instructions for the vendor license key setup.

Actually, to get more info, the best is to think and look first on MSDN to find out how a standard .NET forms appl. works.
Also debuggers help like Visual Studio.

anyway, a trading day is long and instread of getting mad doing nothing and waiting for the right entry I just surf on the web to find out about .NET.
