var type

I have written a library which uses the c# var type - can I use this in Ninja Trader? I am getting "The type or namespace 'var' could not be found" but I think that I have all the references and 'usings' that I need.

Any ideas?

If I cast it to another type immediatley so that I don't have to write:

var my_var = my_class.returns_a_var();

but, for example:

bool my_casted_var = (bool) my_class.returns_a_var();

then it compiles OK
