What ticks fall into what bar? (minute chart)

Can someone point me to the documentation that explains how Ninja determines which ticks are included in the formation of a given bar on a time base chart?

For example, on a 5 minute bar chart, where a bar shows up for
8:30 am, 8:35, 8:40 etc. What bars would contain the following ticks:

8:29:30
8:30:00
8:30:01
8:34:59

8:29:30 > 8:30 bar
8:30:00 > 8:31 bar
8:30:01 > 8:31 bar
8:34:59 > 8:35 bar
