When I try to test my SMTP connection in the Options screen I get this error message:
Failed to send test mail: 500 5.5.1 command unrecognized
See attached screenshot for my settings. You'll see my SMTP server in the "Server" field as I use Cox's Internet service and all SMTP traffic has to go through their SMTP server. I can use this server just fine in Outlook, and user authentication is not required, though I've tried it by putting my Cox user name and password in there but it still doesn't work.
Any ideas?
