Ways to freeze a trading account / NT

Hello,

I want to have a trading account (or the NT) frozen for the trading day (say for 12 or 24 hrs), if the loss has reached a daily limit etc.

Some sort of programming can make it? Thanks.

For discretionary trading, it would be best to contact your broker and ask if they can add a daily loss limit to your account.

Bertrand, it appears from the sample that it limits the trading of a strategy based on certain conditions, e.g. PnL, no of tradies etc.

Look like it can't stop my trading with NT or the trading account.

IB is my broker. They said it's not possible at their end.

I enter and exit trades on the DOM only. What I want to do is NT (or the DOM) or my trading account become untradable for the day after the loss has reached a certain limit.

Any further suggestions? Thx.

Correct, the sample I posted referrs to NinjaScript strategies only. For manual trading on the DOM I unfortunately don't have a solution to lock your account after a certain PnL is reached. Thanks for the suggestion.
