    NinjaTrader folder

I'm writing a custom installer to deploy my vendor CS- and DLL-files. Since those need to be put in the NinjaTrader folder (e.g. C:\Users\UserName\Documents\NinjaTrader 6.5\bin\Custom) I am thinking which is the best way to determine which folder that is.

I've seen there is a registry value (_9FD5023DD8664787AF1497799D612FA6 in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\NinjaTrader\NinjaTrader 6.5\{32E0F5AB-4362-1163-B00C-F8F51D220946}) which points there. My question is if I should use that value or rather not (e.g. because the name of the key and or value is going to change)?

Another option would be to assume that NT's files are always installed to [PersonalFolder]\NinjaTrader 6.5. Would that work and be a better way (or can users change this path during the installation of NT)? I'm looking for the most stable solution.

Unfortunately, would not know anything about the registry key. Folder for sure would change when NT7 rolls out to My Documents\NinjaTrader 7.

Users could not change the directory though. It goes to My Documents.
