Bars since crossover

I am not sure what approach to take with Ninjascipt. Here is what I am trying to do. I have a number of conditions that have to be met in order to trigger a position. However, at times the last of the conditions fires off well into the change and is now too late to enter the move. I was thinking that if I had a way of determining the number of bars that have passed since a certain indicator crossed over (like a ma crossover) I could use this to determine if the trade should be executed or not. I have not been able to fine info in the help files. I am hoping that this is a feature available with the ninjascript wizard. OR there may be a more common method that I am not aware of. Thank you for your help.

leyland, first thing I would suggest trying is a longer lookback settings to loosen the conditions, this would then give the signal the chance to occur over a number of bars rather then all exactly on the same bar which maybe too hard as you have found.
