    Swing().SwingHighBar

    Hello,
    Can anyone please confirm that if a swing high 18 bars ago was penetrated upwards but a new swing high was not established yet (i.e. no lower highs following a highest high) than the Swing(5).SwingHighBar(0, 1, 50) still refers to the last swing bar 18 bars ago?
    Would this mean that the Swing(5).SwingHighBar(0, 1, 50) has a minimum value of 5 because 4 consecutive lower highs required to qualify for a swing high? (not to forget of course -1 value if a swing point is not found within the look back period)

    Thanks

    LazKz,

    It would likely refer to the most recent swing. The minimum value of the swing high bar is just whenever the swing is detected. Please be aware that the swing indicator is extremely difficult to program against because the indicator repaints itself in the future. It will see new conditions and go back and change the plot which makes it extremely difficult to know what the conditions were like when they were evaluated in prior points in time.
