Deleting Draw Object Programatically

Is there a was to remove a Drawing Object that was created by code.

Create Object
DrawText("Tag", .............);

Now I want to delete the Object if conditions change. Is there a way to do something like this:

DrawText.Delete ("Tag");

If not, is there a workaround?
