can you use drawline to draw beyond the last bar

When I hand draw a line on a chart I can draw past the last bar on the chart. Is there a way to use the Drawline command or anything else to draw a line past the current bar using code?

You can use DrawRay to have a line extend past an endpoint.

Any draw object that requires you to have definitive anchor points (like DrawLine) cannot be drawn into the future programmatically.
