    saving parameters in workspace

    Support,

    In #region Properties area of ninjscript, how should parameters to the indicator be defined,so that when the workspace is saved and reopened,the same parameters are loaded on the chart with indicator?

    ============
    [Browsable(true)]
    [XmlIgnore()]
    [Gui.Design.DisplayNameAttribute("Color of text")]
    public Color TextColor
    {
    get { return textColor; }
    set { textColor = value; }
    }
    ==============

    For above code,it is not saving parameters when workspace is closed and opened. How should one modify it,so that parameters get saved in workspace and also in template?

    Please try this in a fresh workspace, if you save the chart with the indicator applied to it, it should be saved without needing code changes.

      To save colors you need to add to the properties, i.e.:
      Code:
              [XmlIgnore()]
              [Description("Color #1")]
              [Category("Visual")]
              [Gui.Design.DisplayNameAttribute("Color #1")]
              public Color color1
              {
                  get { return Color1; }
                  set { Color1 = value; }
              }

              [Browsable(false)]
              public string color1Serialize
              {
                  get { return NinjaTrader.Gui.Design.SerializableColor.ToString( Color1); }
                  set { Color1 = NinjaTrader.Gui.Design.SerializableColor.FromString(value); }
              }
