Code Question

[velocity]

I have an indicator data series that places a +1, -1, or zero on each bar

I am having trouble trying to write code that would be either true or false

For example:

If any bar has a +1 on any of the prior 4 bars, then its true

How would I go about doing this? I sure could use some guidance.
