Accessing text background color

Is there a method I can use to access the current background color of a text object? I would like to get the current background color and set it differently based on a condition.

Unfortunately this is not possible. What you can do instead is just call the DrawText() method again with the same string name and just pass in a different color. That will overwrite the old one with the new color.
