Selected Account Number

Could you please describe how to get the selected account number (in my case IB accounts) when running a script? I would like to print that information on the chart to know which account it is related to.

Can you please add this as a feature request (for NT7 for example). Seems to me like a basic but very helpful feature. Not only for trading several subaccounts of a Friends & Family Account (FFA at IB), but I guess a lot of people have different accounts at one broker for e.g. futures & stocks.

Maybe anybody knows a (C# or whatever) workaround to request/read this information (from IBs TWS) to be used in a script.

Automated Strategy Family and Friends IB Account

I would like to autotrade a strategy across several family and friends accounts at IB. I understand Ninjatrader provides for account grouping but only supports the initial order allocated to each account but no modifications. Does no modifications mean the strategy will not manage the trade after the initial order is placed? What options can you suggest for how to autotrade a strategy using multiple accounts?

What options are available for trading a strategy inside multiple accounts? Can I open a chart for each account and attach the strategy? Would I have to buy a new NJT license for each account? etc...

As long as all accounts are listed under one username to login this would work by starting the strategy for each invidual account from the charts or strategies tab.

So I would need all the friends and family account numbers and passwords to enter into NinjaTrader?

You can only have one single login. If those accounts show up from a single login then you can see them, otherwise not.
