Interrupt a running Strategy

My startegy can not restart after I manually close the position. A dialog box pop up saying "can not start a strategy that has been terminate" when I try to restart the strategy by clicking on the word 'start' in the Strategies tab under the control centre window (main window). Is this normal?

Right. A strategy that has been terminated cannot be restarted. You will want to add a new instance.

I got it from the popup dialog box that I have to start a new instance (i.e. remove the strategy and start a new instance). But why is it happening, that is what I try to understand. Please let me know what conditions will a strategy terminated. Can we pause a strategy?

You manually interrupted your strategy by closing its position. You need a new instance because of that action.
