Dispose of array

I am new to C# and wondering how to dispose of int or double array ?
I have

Variables:
private double[] val;

Initialize:
val = new double[length];


but when i try to clear it on the Override dispose()
by doing val.Clear();
there is no such method..

The name of the method is Dispose() - capital "D".

You shouldn't have to dispose any array.
