Turn off my sounds after entering a trade.
I have some indicators that generate some sounds when a trade setup is forming. If things look good then I manually enter a trade through Static Superdom. I would like to stop playing my sounds once in a trade (no longer flat). I was going to use Position.MarketPosition and use that as one of the criteria for playing a sound. However, that only works in strategies. So, I wrote a strategy and it works but after I have manually entered and exited a trade then the straegy is no longer active. Any suggestions on how I can either do this from within an indicator or else have my strategy remain active? The strategy is only checking an indicator value and the market position to control the sounds and enters no positions. Thanks.Tags: None

Hi highler, here's a workaround idea you can use - to check for your account position you could use the File / .NET interface from our ATI. The MarketPosition function is what you need to turn your sounds on / off. Please also see this link - http://www.ninjatrader-support.com/H...ientClass.html
For the File Interface you can review this - http://www.ninjatrader-support.com/H...dateFiles.html
