SampleStreamWriter Example

I am relatively new to both NinjaTrader & C#. Thus far I have been able to code simple strategies but I have not be able to figure out how to output prices to a text file although I can write to the output window. I found the SampleStreamWriter example, but I do not understand how to use it. Would it be possible for NT support to walk me through how to use the SampleStreamWriter code?

Hello,

We cannot walk you through it step by step, however if you just attach the StreamWriter to the chart it will create a file in Documents>NinjaTrader 6.5 and you will see what it is writing from there. From there you will need to play around with it to understand it completely. If you get stuck please post your specific question(s).
