    Reference Array from element 1 rather than element 0

    I would like to use SMA starting with High[1] rather than High[0]. How do you define it in Ninjascript. In Tradestation, I would use SMA (High[1], 10).

    You would need to create yourself a new DataSeries that has this offset.

      passing DataSeries as a reference starting at an nth element

      I am looking for a way to pass a subset of a DataSeries to a method.

      Example:

      DataSeries ds1 = new DataSeries(this);
      ...
      result = SomeMethod(DataSeries[1]);

      Obviously, this going to pass a double. How do I pass the subset?
      I guess I can create a subseries, ds2, as a copy but that is inefficient and certainly non elegant.

        There is no way to pass a subset. You could try creating an array or another DataSeries.
