Setting proper scale on chart
I am brand new to ninjatrader and see that there is no built-in way to set a specific price time ratio (scale) and lock it. Is there any scripts that will accomplish that end? If not, has anyone given any thought as to how this might be accomplished? thank you.Tags: None

Hello jimfred,
Thanks for your post.
I see you are referring to setting a scale in NinjaTrader 7. To fix the range of a chart in NinjaTrader 7, navigate to the y-axis (price scale), right-click on the price scale, and select Properties.
From this dialog window, you can configure a fixed price scale/range.
Please review the section named “Understanding panels” at the following help guide page link:
http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/h...ng_a_chart.htm
There are no supported methods or properties to programmatically set the scale of a chart in NinjaTrader 7. This forum thread will be open for other community members to share their insights on unsupported code.
Let me know if you have any additional questions.Brandon H.NinjaTrader Customer Service
