How to import a .eld file?

I have a .eld file.

It is an indicator file I would like to import to Ninja.

How do I do this. Do I need to convert the file first?

TradeStation files can not be imported into NinjaTrader, you would have to re-write your TradeStation script in NinjaTrader. Please check out the NinjaScript section of our HelpGuide. If you prefer to have someone do this for you, check out our list of NinjaScript consultants.

Hi Ray, thanks for your reply. There are about 300 pages in the help guide that focus on Ninja scripts. Could you please direct me to the page that will help me import my .eld file?

There isn't one, just as there is not page in the Tradestation manual that will tell you how to convert a NinjaTrader, MetaTrader or MetaStock indicator.

It would need to manually be recoded in NinjaScript format. I would suggest posting the file in the Indicator Development forum and perhaps someone will be able to look at it for you (although there's no guarantee).

Thanks for your reply Elliot. I tried to do as you said however .eld files are not accepted. I received an error message stating that the file could not be uploaded.

It seems Ninja does not allow this file format to be uploaded in the 'Indicator Development' Area??

There are limitations on the types of files that can be uploaded. Use a zip file and you should be fine.
