An Alert configured to signal a Reversal Bar

Has anyone used an Alert to signal a Reversal bar and have sample code I could test?
I use Renko bars and would like to use Alerts to tell me when a bar reversal has occurred.

By reversal bar do you mean when the Close[0] is less than Open[0] and Close[1] is greater than Open[1] (and vice versa)?

if (Close[0] < Open[0] && Close[1] > Open[]1])

Since i cant work with renko bars via close, open, low, high, etc (is there a way to get around it?)
I tried to do a 2nd data series and use your reversal logic on the 2min.

This is your same condition for a reversal to a short and you can see it took a short but it shouldnt have. I feel like I cant succeed because of bugs.

I recommend using prints to understand the bugs in your custom logic, letting you see why conditions are evaluating as true or false.

Note, that submitting an exit long and an enter short at the same time can result in doubling the position in the opposite direction or an overfill.

Renko bars can be used with Calculate OnBarClose, but intra-bar these will change the open price and can cause confusing behavior.
