Buy entry not on open of bar. Frustrated newbie

Hi,

I'm new to Ninja trader.. I'm not a programmer but have found the stategy wizard quite easy to use.

I have one big problem tho....

All of my trade entries in the strategy analyser are at the open of the bar... I've changed everything I can think of and it keeps doing it...

I want to accomplish the following.....

Have a buy signal so that an entry will be triggered if the current bar trades above the previous bars open (On a 5 min chart). Therefore the entry should be in the middle of a bar(or like)... not the open of the relevant bar.

Please any suggestions??

Hi Frankriso,

You will need to set "Calculate on bar close" to False for the strategy you use. More information can be found at the link below.
