sell at the first profitable open - is it possible?

Hello,

I am new in NT. I have been searching the forum for selling in the first profitable opening. I can see that NT does not support Sell at Open type of orders, that's ok.

Is there any trick to sell at the open (or in the first tick) ONLY if you have a profit in that first tick? The trade must be filled in the current bar, not tommorrow.

In real-time you can do this. In backtesting you can only sell on the next bar because the signal bar is already closed.

In real-time you can try:

if (FirstTickOfBar && Bars.FirstBarOfSession)

Use that to evaluate your profit then submit your sell order. Remember you will have to run CalculateOnBarClose = false to make any intrabar trades.
