Total Volume current and prior day

I have a 30 minute chart.
I want display the current volume for the current day and total volume for prior day.
Example:

Today Total VOL: 150152
Yesterday Total VOL: 156532

Any Help?

Thank you for your post.

I've created a simple example indicator that does just this - you can add a secondary daily data series and use the VOL indicator to get the volume totals for the prior and current bar. You can import the attached file and check it out in the NinjaScript editor - rather than plotting a value, this just draws the text on each bar update.

Yes, that code is for NinjaTrader 7, as this is forum is for development of NinjaTrader 7 scripts. However, since it's a very simple script, I threw together a quick conversion to NinjaTrader 8 that I've attached.

I installed the script for NT.8 and was really helpful
But
Every time I try to open this script form to Ninja Script Editor windows I get this red color error saying

Unhanded exception:Index was out of rang. Must be non-negative and less than the size of the collection. Parameter name index

When I open any other script from Ninja Script Editor window, I don't get this error??

I've tested the script you have modified and provided but this appears to be working without issue.

Are you getting multiple days of historical data on the chart?
Are you receiving real-time data on the chart?

If you take the same steps in the video are you getting different behavior than what is shown in the video?

• When adding an instance of the CurrentAndPriorDayVolumeNT8?
• When clicking OK?

Does this error occur when adding the SMA indicator?

Hmm, that would suggest it may not be a script.

Yes, re-download and try running the repair from the NinjaTrader installer. (Or update to the latest version if you are not on 8.0.21.1)

Thank you for your answer
I try to fix the problem and enhance the indicator and I did it, I don't how but I was lucky and love to learn, it is fun
Now I am stuck with some add option in this indicator and don't know how to do it.
What I try to do is:
Add and script :
Margin Y and Margin X
to control Text box into a very specific spot on the chart not only limited by TopRight / BottomRight / TopLeft / BottomLeft.
would you please let me know how to add that

Also forget to mention that is all the time I found difference in the VOL Quantity between this indicator text and Market Analyzer (Text about 6% less then Market Analyzer)
Do I need to adjust any set up???
