I'm trying to create a drawing tool that automatically creates an alarm based on it's position, with some preset configuration of my choosing. I'd like to make it create a native NinjaTrader alarm with a condition and I also need it to be able to share when the alert is activated to one of my Share Services, is this possible with the current API?

Alert API
Is there an API to create an alert programatically? The AlertCallback() function helps a lot already, by logging alerts, playing chosen sounds and displaying messages, but it clearly doesn't do everything an alert created by hand does.

Hello Matheusfx,
Thank you for your note.
You could modify the attached script, which loops through drawing objects on a chart, and upon the discovery of your custom drawing tool, will create both an alert and share.
You would use the following alert method to create the alert,
And have something shared using the following method.
Please let us know if you need further assistance.Alan P.NinjaTrader Customer Service
