Export tick data from NinjaTrader and move it to other computer
Is there documentation on how to move tick data (all of it) and dump it out to move it over to a different computer and then import it? Is there any de-duplication that Ninjatrader offers?Tags: None

Hello,
Thank you for writing for writing in.
Glad to assist. You may create a backup file that include the historical data and restore this on the second PC (Tools > Export > Backup file... -- use Tools > Import > Backup file... to restore).
Below I have provided a link to the Backup and Restore section of our help guide.
Additionally you may manually export the data via text file and import. See below for more on exporting.
Let us know if we may assist further.Eric B.NinjaTrader Customer Service
