NT7 custom bar or chart types

Is it possible to create custom bar or chart types in NT7?
I did some searching, but the results were for NT8 only. If it is possible, could you direct me to a guide and maybe the source code of original NT bar types as I am trying to create modified versions of a few original ones.
To be more precise, I want to create something like Renko, Line Break, Volume (whether they are bar or chart types by definition).

Custom BarTypes and ChartStyles are not supported or documented for NinjaTrader 7. These also cannot be edited with the NinjaScript Editor inside of NinjaTrader.

However, it is possible to create a custom script of these types outside of NinjaTrader using a 3rd party text editor like notepad or VisualStudio.

This would be outside of what NinjaTrader is able to support for NinjaTrader 7, however, this thread will remain open for any community members that would like to assist.

As a tip I would recommend taking a look at the scripts that have been uploaded to the filesharing section of the forums.
