Profiling tools?

Are there any profiling tools that can be used to performance tune Ninjascript indicators and strategies?

Please see the Performance tab for analysis of your trades. You can also try features like Optimize and Walk Forward within the Strategy Analyzer for your NinjaScript Strategies.

I may not fully understand what the capability of the "Optimize" function in NT, but what I am looking for is an actually code profiler. I would like the ability to understand where an indicator is spending its time within the C# code. I know it is possible to put timer prints within the code, but that practice tends to effect code performance and is cumbersome to say the least.

Put another way, I am trying to understand if it is possible to develop the C# code in a full featured development environment and profile the code as it runs in NT.

This may be possible inside Visual Studio with a 3rd party profiling application. See link below for more information on running in VS.
