bar timer showing incorrect time

how do i fix my chart when its showing incorrect bar timer?

What do you mean incorrect bar timer? You can try reloading the indicator and reopening the chart.

yes my bar timer resets to 1 min 12 secs after counting down to 13 secs. my 9 min chart and my 3 min charts are doing similar things. is that normal?

The BarTimer should reset to a time comparable to your bar's time length. Let me get this straight.

1min chart
no other indicators, just BarTimer
when a new bar starts your timer should be 00:00:59 and count down.

Try on Simulated Data Feed. Let me know how it goes.

on simulated data feed it sets up to 00:00:59 perfectly, but not on live.

BarTimer does not work on instruments that are not liquid enough or that have sporadic data. What instrument and what feed are you using?

Hm. I am out of ideas. My bar timer doesn't have a problem resetting at a new bar.

Maybe try resetting your PC clock. Try rebooting afterwards?

i have exactly the same problem
2 minute chart es with zenfire
bartimer starts with 2:31 (on a 2 minute chart..)
counts down and at 0.31 new candle is print and timer starting over at 2:31
system clock is correct

any ideas?

Sorry guys. I am just unable to reproduce on my end. Please use no other indicators or strategies and no other charts and see if you can reproduce. First try a restart too.

Please ensure your PC clock is truly in sync with the times on the data. You can do this by opening up your PC clock and then comparing it to the previous bar's time stamp.

You will want to close all charts, close NinjaTrader, resync PC clock, reopen NT and try again.
