the search for a perfect entry stop order

Any idea on coding would be great, heres what we have so far.
On bar entry, we use donchian channel median line +/- 5 ticks to calculate the ENTRY stop order. median + 5ticks for short etc... We would also like to look for all the SMA's 10,20,50,200 as a stop order as long as its within 15 ticks of the vaule of the pivot median... So in simple minded terms, if we enter a short and the pivotMedian is 43.50, our stop is 43.55 or lets say the 200 sma is above us at 43.62.... I want to strategy to choose the 200 sma over the pivot median.... So if the SMA's are lets more the 15 ticks away from our entry we use the pivot median. anyones help would be appreciated.

not new to programing, just looking for insight. its prob like and else if function that looks at stop order values and rates them which is the better stop order
