Is It possible to cut Forcaster in pieces
Is It possible to cut Forecaster in pieces.
Just the patern one by one and the predictors one by one.
It takes time to load all together and maybe cut this in pieces everybody will load
what he wants one at the time. Maybe that way is faster.
Again thanks for your contribution

Elmi,
Sorry to hear your experiencing long load times. I suppose it would be possible to break it up but I have not seen a large CPU load or extraordinary load times. When running, I usually am at 1-10% cpu load. Right now I have 3 charts open, all with the Forecaster plus other indicators and I am at 1-4% cpu capacity. I also doubt that it would be more efficient because you would have to run through 6-10 indicator code modules on each tick update, including the routine overhead for each, rather than just one.
A couple of things to check for:
The DataExport will slow things down a lot. Jefflinhq made some mods that seem to speed it up considerably. See his (I'm assuming jeff is a him) post earlier in this thread.
If you try to load 120 days of 15 tick range bars, there is a lot of data to plow through. Reformat your chart to display only 5-10 days worth.
Finally, on my end, the administrative overhead of maintaining 6-10 indicators, rather than one, would be prohibitive.
I am not a professional C# programmer. Basically, I'm just a seat-of-the-pants, self taught individual who never coded anything in C# before I undertook this project. I'm certain an accomplished programmer could streamline it a bit, or a lot, to load and run more efficiently.
I do appreciate the input, though.

mwave,
Whatever is left over at Woodie's, with the exception of the spreadsheet, is out dated. I moved the Pattern Recognition (Forecaster) and DataExport over here when Woodie deleted the Forecaster. You can find the Pattern Recognition and Data Exporter here: http://www.ninjatrader-support.com/v...N&pp=15&page=2

Let me see if I can catch up here.
1.) I just uploaded a new version. I fix some things in the Tony Trade that were causing signals come in late. Signals were al there and valid, just late to show.
2.) mwave, The Pattern Recognition does not alter the 34ema or lsma in any way. WoodiesCCI has the lsma on the 0 line and it does change color.
3.) pgabriel, The Data Exporter should show in your indicator list as "CCI Data Export 2". If it is not there open Windows Explorer (My Computer) and Navigate to "My Documents\NinjaTrader 6.5\bin\Custom\Indicator". It should be listed as "CCI_Data_Export.cs". If it is not there try to import it again or extract the contents of the zip file to the above folder and see if you can compile it usin Tools|Edit NinjaScript| Indicator ...". One side note: It makes no difference what panel it is attached to as there is nothing to display.
I also just replaced my version with the one jefflinhq was kind enough to tweak. It runs much faster. Thanks, jefflinhq.
4.) Good trading to all.
